As Creative Director for Microsoft Learn, I led the rebrand of one of the world’s largest technical learning platforms, an initiative that directly supported Microsoft’s mission to empower every person on the planet to achieve more. In the wake of COVID, with the Microsfot CEO, Satya Nadella, calling to upskill up to 50 million people, the challenge was to transform a rushed, unfinished brand into a unified, inspiring system. Over 5 months, we brought together five different divisions around a single vision: capturing the “aha” moment when learning clicks. The result was Microsoft’s first-ever 2D/3D brand system—built to scale across hundreds of courses and tens of thousands of pages—covering Microsoft technologies and its broader ecosystem.
